Here on this blog, I consider it my space. I want my voice to sound authentic as if we were having a conversation. I know I probably do not always adhere to all the correct rules, but I know them.

It is important to know and understand the rules of spelling and grammar in a professional setting so you can clearly present your message. It is also important to understand your audience.

In our class, we are learning how to write professionally in a variety of different situations. This experience will prepare us as we continue our education and move into careers in communication.

I am excited to continue learning and growing as a writer. I am excited to sharpen my skills and challenge myself as I write outside my comfort zone.

As you can see from these comical memes, punctuation matters. Grammar matters. Spelling matters. Using the skills correctly helps others understand your meaning and message better.
